New and improved, it replaces the previous version of ESP Soft Ghost. So how is it different? Well, it's still 100% fluorocarbon, but a few key attributes set it apart from its predecessor. First, it's even smoother. It behaves impeccably and can be straightened straight from the spool without the aid of steam and although softer, it will still pull the bait away from the lead hook without any problems.
Secondly, fluorocarbons are often notorious for their lack of resistance to stretching and impact. These problems have been completely eradicated with this new material which now has a good degree of stretch and superb knot strength.
With a density of 1.78 which is heavier than water, it sinks quickly without the need for tungsten filler and being invisible in the water, Soft Ghost provides the perfect solution for a range of presentations (braid/fluoro combi rigs, reverse combi rigs, D rigs and as a pole for rigid hinged rigs), especially when targeting riggy carp in clear water.
