Jersey Copa Nottingham Forest 1992/93
Nottingham Forest began what was the inaugural season of the Premier League in promising fashion with a home win over Liverpool, but it would be a difficult season for the club that would end with relegation and a return to the second tier for the first time since the 1970s.
It would also mark the end of the long and successful reign of the club's iconic manager, Brian Clough.
There was talent in the team with players of the calibre of Steve Stone, Nigel Clough, Stuart Pearce, Mark Crossley and a young Roy Keane, but the departed stars Teddy Sheringham and Des Walker proved impossible to replace.
