Jersey Copa Brentford 1992/94As manager Steve Perryman left the club on the eve of the 1990-91 season, his assistant Phil Holder took over and had a season full of promise.
It was a team built around the defensive rock that was Keith Millen with Keith Jones providing plenty of stability in midfield. An extremely promising attack featuring Dean Holdsworth and Gary Blissett came together and helped Brentford to a playoff appearance in the third division. Alas, a narrow loss to Tranmere left promotion out of reach.
