Description
This double snaffle bit is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy composed of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The material's oxidation process spreads a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a smooth, even pressure distribution. The combination of Cuprigan's design and unique composition help stimulate chewing and salivation, resulting in a delicate bond with the horse's sensitive mouth. The bit has a normal action in the mouth. The thickness of the canon is 10 mm and the diameter of the bit washers is 50 mm.
The snaffle bit is used in combination with a bridle bit. Smaller rings leave more space for the curb bit. We recommend choosing a snaffle bit about 0.5 - 1 cm larger than the bridle.
The canon bit is in three parts. The central part of the canon lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than with a single curb bit. The thicker the central part, the greater the pressure on the tongue.
