The design of the shirt is inspired by the WWI naval camouflage 'Dazzle', much of which was applied in the dry docks of Liverpool, making it much harder for the enemy to estimate a ship's speed, range and course. The shirt design echoes this proud chapter in Liverpool's history and its contribution to the war effort.
