Featuring a DUOMAX™ support system that creates a more stable ride, the foam placement on the medial portion of the midsole provides a firmer density that prevents the foot from turning too far inward (overpronation).
The outsole's notched pattern features ASICSGRIP™ rubber while incorporating a studded pattern for both uphill and downhill on the lateral and medial portion of the shoe to improve grip on slippery terrain.
In addition, a rock plate helps the outsole stay flexible and protects the foot from steep terrain or trail debris.
