Energy conservation is an important component for trail runners who traverse long distances. That's why we applied GUIDESOLE™ technology to the TRABUCO MAX™ trail running shoe. This trail running shoe provides better cushioning and traction while allowing runners to go over more terrain with less effort.
GUIDESOLE™ technology is the only structure that features a responsive raised toe box. It has been scientifically proven to save energy over a long distance. By reducing the load placed on the lower extremities from the pulse to propulsion, this technology gives trail runners more opportunities to run farther because they will use less energy to cover the same distance.
Grip is a necessary component of running off the beaten path. That's why we incorporated ASICSGRIP™ technology into the outsole.
This rubber component comes in handy for providing traction, especially on wet and slippery terrain. Incorporated into the ASICSGRIP™ outsole, we applied an uphill and downhill lug pattern that enhances agility when running on a variety of terrains. We also wanted to provide advanced comfort and cushioning for runners who are on the trails for hours on end.
By adding 28mm of FLYTEFOAM™ technology under the heel and 23mm of the same technology in the forefoot, this shoe offers excellent cushioning.
Due to the increased height of the shoe, rocks and roots will be better absorbed by the midsole. The combination of a smooth forward roll, improved cushioning as well as increased traction makes the TRABUCO MAX™ shoe an excellent training partner for a variety of trail running workouts.
